11 Things You Would Probably Do If Money Weren’t An Issue 11 Things You Would Probably Do If Money Weren’t An Issue

You can’t not love money. You could not love what it does to some people, but you couldn’t not love having it yourself. People do stupid things when they come into a large sum of money. Even if they worked hard for it, money often changes people. You’d think it would change people for the better, but unfortunately that isn’t usually the case. The more money people have, the more selfish they seem to become. The only thing actually appealing about money is what you can do with it – intrinsically it has no value whatsoever. But how much could one possibly need for oneself? If you aren’t using your money (not only to make more money) to enjoy yourself, to make your life better, and to give back and to make the lives of others better, then you’re literally wasting your millions.Money is only good if it’s spent. The trick is to spend it on the right things. Spending money on what matters in life will make you happier – seriously. It’s a whole lot better than being completely selfish. Howeve…

Florida’s Joey Polk felt a peculiarly strong tug on his line when he was fishing off the Florida Panhandle earlier this month. That pull turned out to be an 11-foot, 805-pound mako shark.Polk and the creature became embroiled in a furious tug of war that lasted over an hour. The 29-year-old father-of-three eventually caught the shark, but had no intention of keeping it as a prize.“We tried to revive the fish and send him back out, but he was too worn out to swim. That’s why we decided to keep him. We don’t do it for the money, for the publicity, just to catch the fish,” the Milton, Florida resident told The New York Daily News.
It’s a good thing Polk didn’t toss the fish back in because he soon found out it was the largest mako ever caught. And what’s the best thing to do with…

The World’s Greatest Soccer Empire Is Crumbling, And It’s No Wonder Why

Disorder has engulfed an empire that has been all about stability. Yesterday morning, the rumors began circulating out of Manchester United, the world’s most popular soccer club, and into the media spin cycle. Its underachieving manager, David Moyes, was to be fired, a claim that was reported by more than a few reputable sources. At the time, he hadn’t been sacked yet, but where there is smoke there is fire, and Moyes has since been burned, with his departure confirmed early this morning, just 11 months after the Scottish coach was handed a six-year contract by the reigning English Premier League champions. None of this, though, should come as a surprise. From practically start to finish, Manchester United has made headlines this season for the exact opposite reasons than the club is used to and have broken records in all the wrong ways. Under David Moyes, the Red Devils have gained their lowest amount of points ever in the Premier League and have not qualified for the UEFA Champions Le…
